The closest tram station is located 1 minute walk from the apartment (Porte d'Anderlecht tram stop) with tramlines connecting directly to Gare de Midi station and métro (which connect to all other parts of the city!). You can also walk to Gare de Midi (16 mins walk). Enjoy a chaotic Sunday Market every week at the Midi market where you can purchase all kinds of fruits, vegetables, homeware and flowers at very cheap price! You can also enjoy the Marolles antique market every weekend, which is also at close walking distance from the apartment.If you are looking for art exhibitions and cultural events, Tour et Taxi as well as the Kanaal Pompidou centers are only a (nice) 20 minute stroll along the river!The apartment is also located 37 mins walk or 18 mins commute from the European Quarter (where I used to work).
